Sergio Duvalloni et Rosy Merlini arrivent \u00e0 Bruxelles pour quelques mois. Au d\u00e9tour d’une conversation, Sergio apprend qu’un restaurant est \u00e0 remettre au 28 rue de la Tulipe. Il visite le lieu, en tombe amoureux et d\u00e9cide de s’y lancer. Ainsi na\u00eet le Sounds.<\/p>\n

Le lieu s’impose rapidement comme un des meilleurs club de jazz de la ville, sous l’influence mythique de Pol Lenders du Pol’s Jazz Club voisin. Tr\u00e8s vite, il devient une sc\u00e8ne de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence, accueillant les figures majeures du jazz belge moderne \u2014 Philip Catherine, Aka Moon, Steve Houben, Nathalie Loriers, Eric Legnini, Toots Thielemans le Brussels Jazz Orchestra et bien d’autres… \u2014 tout en offrant une sc\u00e8ne aux jeunes talents appel\u00e9s \u00e0 marquer leur \u00e9poque.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=\u00a0\u00bb165988″]Au fil des d\u00e9cennies, Sounds traverse les crises sans jamais renier son ADN. Des artistes comme Paolo Fresu, John Scofield, Mark Turner, Charlie Mariano, Tutu Puoane\u00a0ou Jacky Terrasson s’y produisent, consolidant sa r\u00e9putation au-del\u00e0 des fronti\u00e8res. Mais c’est aussi un tremplin, un lieu d’apprentissage et de partage, o\u00f9 les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations se croisent.<\/p>\n

En 2021 le b\u00e2timent est vendu et mis \u00e0 disposition gracieusement pour 20 ans au Collectif Buen Vivir qui reprend le flambeau avec la volont\u00e9 de faire vivre l’h\u00e9ritage du club tout en l’ancrant dans les enjeux contemporains.
